Rating & Reviews for 1701 N Maplewood Avenue
Overall rating
Great location, good house
Beautiful location, a couple neighbors nearby are occasionally noisy, washer/drier/dishwasher are nice. Staff & maintenance are responsive and professional. No major issues with the building or amenities that I know of. Although the insulation isn't great and you'll spend 200+/mo on heat in the winter with the thermostat <68.
Bucktown Tree House
There is so much I love about this space and a few key factors that need adjustment. Pros include an epic sunset view from the western window, updated appliances, heat included in rent, amazing location, and backyard space. The cons are the reasons I am moving and I wish they could be changed because I would have loved to continue renting here. From my experience, the most significant con is the LACK OF CENTRAL AC. In the attic, even with 2 high-powered window units and fans, it gets unhabitably hot in the unit. I also feel as if there could be consistent maintenance that does not exist. Management is responsive with requests. Moreover, I think based on the price being asked for the square footage, management should be consistently providing maintenance without needing to be prompted by renters.
